Bringing the world’s biggest beer festival from Munich to Norfolk Every autumn, more than six million people flock to Munich to celebrate Oktoberfest, the world’s largest beer festival. First held back in 1810 to mark the wedding of Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese, the festival has become a global icon – with its lively music, Bavarian food, and, of course, its famous beers brewed specially for the occasion. These Oktoberfest beers are rarely found outside of Germany, but once again, Beers of Europe is the very first in the UK to stock them for 2025. While Oktoberfest officially begins on 20th September 2025, the limited-edition beers have already landed at our warehouse in Setchey, Norfolk – ready for you to enjoy right now. Marketing Manager Amanda Waterfield explained: “Not everyone can make the trip to Bavaria, but Beers of Europe brings the festival to you. Thanks to long-standing relationships with our suppliers, we’re able to stock Oktoberfest beers earlier than anyone else in the UK.
